Something looks fishy here, but I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt until I hear back from the seller. This van is a 1987 VW Vanagon Syncro (AWD) Westfalia with 180k miles and no other details listed. The minimal pictures show what looks to be a very clean body and an awning. I’m going to email the seller and see if they can provide more details here, but if this is a full working sycro pop top that looks this good, $19k is pretty nice price. I’ve actually gotten some very short replies from the “seller” on this one. I’m going to direct him to this thread again and prove they are legit.
I think this listing is a scam, but I’m not sure. The seller has been very vague in email communication. If they’re reading this, I’d like for them to prove to me otherwise.
Is this a Wolfsburg Edition, with the painted bumpers and mirrors?
