Hot of the press a couple hours ago is this 1984 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper with two tone paint, Wolfsburg trim and 112k miles. I’m assuming it has the stock 1.9L engine, and seller states the PSI for all cylinders is between 116 and 119. It is also said to have newer brakes, newer tent canvas and “much more”. I’m actually quite suspicious of this listing, as they state they won’t be able to respond to emails until Monday, and the tent canvas show in the pictures is the stock factory one, and looks a bit used and not like one of the newer tents available. Hmm. Anyhow, if you’re in the Durango, Colorado area go check it out for only $5,800. Craigslist Link
Only three pictures, but looks clean as they come for an 84. All the seals, rubber, paint, etc look great, and there’s no apparent rust either. This deal looks too good to be true, as I’ve seen vans like this sell for upwards of $15k in Colorado, California and similar hot Westy regions. Be careful out there! Got any thoughts?
