While I’m not a fan of automatics, here’s a nice 1986 VW Vanagon Westfalia Weekender for sale by it’s 3rd owner in San Francisco with a fresh rebuilt motor and transmission for $14,000. The engine and transmission have only 3,500 miles, with the van having 170k miles on the clock. This van features; new fuel lines, lower ball joints, power steering pump, fuel pump, wiring harness wood-laminate flooring. Also comes with 3-point shoulder seat belts on jumper and rear bench seats. I think this is a reasonably priced van considering the region and recent drive train work.
