1985 VW Vanagon GL w/ Subaru SVX Engine & Tons Of Upgrades – $12,750
So every now and again I will stray from posting about pure Westfalias if I find something that catches my attention and feels worthy of mention. Today that happens to be this van, a 1985? (guessing, could be ’83 -’85) VW Vangaon GL with a Subaru SVX conversion available in Decatur, GA for $12,750. The SVX conversion was said to be done proper and pro style with a Rocky Mountain West crossmemeber, Kennedy adapter, outfront flywheel and clutch linked up to a AAA rebuilt transaxle with Peloquin limited slip differential along with taller 3rd and 4th gears. The rest of the van features working A/C, cruise control, Smallcar Audi front brakes, new ball joints, tie rods, heavy duty rear brake shoes, Whiteline rear sway bar and Koni adjustable shocks, brighter H4 bulbs/relays with Cibie beams, Recarro seats, bedliner around the bottom panels, 0 rust, Alpine CD player and sits nicely on 15″ ACT BBS style wheels with Continental Vanco tires( I run these on my Westy, work great!).
