This well cared for van popped up on the GoWesty classifieds yesterday for $19,400 and might be a decent buy for someone looking to get into a late model Vanagon Westfalia. I wish GoWesty would require or at least remind sellers to list where their vans are located, but after a bit of research, I’m come to the conclusion that this van is
likely located in Salem, OR located in Carnation, WA. The odometer reads 250k, which is a bit on the high side, however there is less than 30k miles on an engine rebuild, transmission rebuilt(4 speed manual) and front end suspension rebuild. This ride also features Go Westy 16” wheels and Nokian WR G2 tires with only 13k miles, Yakima rack tabs, towers and crossbars, receiver hitch and trailer lights, 2nd accessory battery with smart combiner and upgraded separate fuse panel, high power headlight relay and upgraded bulbs, Kenwood Stereo and all interior LED bulbs. I’m guessing all of the appliances work, although it isn’t stated in the listing. There’s also no mention or picture of the windows and locks, as I’m not a fan of the “likely to fail on a long road trip” power windows.
