So while I’m personally not sure if I’m a fan of the automatic transmission, it’s hard to pass up mentioning a 38k original mile Westy for sale. Available in Costa Mesa, CA, this 1989 full camper looks to be in tip top cosmetic shape, and the seller totes it as being the “Lowest-mile Westfalia I’ve seen in 20 years of the hobby“. I don’t recall seeing anything under 50k miles recently, but they are out there. She sure is purdy.
If you’re considering this van, I’d suggest asking the seller in advance…
- Get the VIN and do a title history check. I’d of course do this with any van I’m considering, but especially when spending more than $15k or so.
