Freshly listed on eBay yesterday afternoon, this 1987 Westy is located in Frederick, Maryland and appears to have minimal rust for being on the east coast(though the van is from New Mexico). I love when sellers do a great job of actually “selling” their vehicle, providing clean well taken pictures and detailed description of everything that’s been replaced/repaired and where the van has been. This is one of those examples, and it only has 137k miles on the odometer. The well kept paint, black tint and Go Westy wheels show it off well. Since buying the vehicle on eBay a few years ago, seller states they have added or replaced the rack and pinion, cv half shafts, clutch master & slave cylinders, tie rod ends, carpet, Bilstein shocks, ignition switch, Go Westy hook ups, extended wiper blades, head light upgrade, alternator and new windshield. However, the Dometic fridge no longer runs on propane (which is a feature I love in my van). It sounds like it’s been on some pretty good tours with minimal problems. It is rare to see a Westy without a reserve price, but the seller states they can end the auction early as well. I think if this were for sale in California it would fetch $16k or more. Any guesses on how much this will go for?
