Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. Did you happen to see any awesome Westys on the road? A friend of mine said he saw about a 20 in just as many miles when he was driving near Half Moon Bay near SF. At any rate, here’s our first van for the week. This rig is a 1991 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper that features a new 2.3L GoWesty engine, new stainless steel exhaust and coolant system, solar modules, power inverter, dual batteries, nice awning, CD player w/ changer, Thule racks with locking cargo box and canoe & kayak loader. The van also comes lifted with larger tires, heavy duty rear bumper, fold out tire and cargo rack an extra tent canvas and extra curtains, with the current ones being in great shape as is. While it’s a definitely a high priced Westy, this one has seen some serious upgrades and might be worth the price tag. The one thing I can’t figure out is if this is a manual or automatic transmission, a very important detail forgotten by the seller. However it does look like the remembered the sepia Instagram filter. I’m going to email them and see if they can hook us up with more details. Find it for sale in Pismo Beach California with an asking price of $28,500. The Samba Link – Go Westy Classifieds Link
I’m not the one actually selling this van, but it appears to be still available on The Samba and the GoWesty Classifieds. Try 805-441-5667 or drthoring@yahoo.com to contact the seller.
