Epic 1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia Multivan Weekender – $25k in Santa Cruz, CA
I saw a note in my Facebook feed this morning about a friend of mine who's decided to sell his Westy. In fact, I think this might have been the first Westy I'd ever ridden in, maybe 7 years or so ago. He was originally planning on keeping this van forever, so it was meticulously taken care of. With 217k on the body, this van has a wide variety of awesome upgrades from bumper to bumper. It runs on a GoWesty 2.2 and AA Transaxle transmission with the taller 4th gear, each with roughly 40k on them, plus a newer stainless steel cooling system. Other fancy schmancy additions include; Bilstein Shocks w/ a Go Westy zero lift kit, Dragon Fly gauge cluster, dual batteries w/ a 1200 Watt inverter, bumpin stereo, Bentley and Hayes manuals, awning with the extra room, sick wheels and shoes, the list goes on and on. Most of the work and maintenance (he's got receipts) was done at Volks Cafe in Santa Cruz, they're renowned Vanagon magicians. Check it all out on Craigslist for $25k. Please help this van go to a good home!
