Here’s what looks like a great deal on the final year of the US model Westy, if you know someone into welding. This rig is a 1991 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with 217k miles, stock 2.1L engine, stock 4 speed manual transmission, 15″ Mercedes wheels, new muffler, new alternator, 2 new batteries, new propane tank, new rear brakes, 3rd brake light, inverter, Kenwood CD player w/ amp sub and speakers. The seller states the price reflects the seam rust issue on the rocker panels, but they were too scared to show pictures, so I’m guessing it’s bad. Overall it looks like a nice clean van and even with $3k in welding (random number I threw out), this van is still likely worth the asking price. It will likely be gone before the weekend is through.
