Everyone loves that sought after orly blue color, so here we go. This very clean and well kept find is a 1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia Weekender with under 200k miles, rebuilt engine and automatic transmission. According to the seller it was original owned by a disabled person who may have had a wheelchair lift it in. It was then sold to a VW lover who took it to car shows, etc, then it was sold to the current seller, who’s had it for an unspecified amount of time. The current seller is likely a bit of a dealer/flipper, as they didn’t qualify for the free auto check report on eBay, which means they’ve listed more than a certain amount of vehicles for sale over the past year. This VIN is WV2YB0251LH014082 so you could pay for your own Car Fax report, or similar. The odometer reads 180,000, which is decent for a 28 year old vehicle.
The seller claims the van has no rust and has recently had fat mat sound dampening added to the interior. Fresh brakes and tire only two months ago means you can be sure footed on the road when you drive it away. This is an all power everything Vanagon, so door locks, windows & mirrors are all electric, which is fun, but they are known to fail so be prepared to have a Vanagon specialist take a look at the the wires in the front door jams for these features, among other things. Overall it looks very clean and well cared for. Auction Ends Wednesday August 29th at 3:09pm PST. The van is currently located in Los Angeles, CA. eBay Link
