How much difference will a k make? Gotta watch out for those typos when listing your tricked out Westy.  This van popped up on the SF craigslist yesterday in San Rafael, CA with an asking price of $23k.  The listing states that there is only 30 miles on engine and transmission, but the works was done in 2009? Oh what a difference a k can make.  At any rate, it sill appears to be a sweet van with many upgrades and extras, most of which were done by the folks at BusLab in Berkeley, CA. It’s also missing another k, on the total mileage, which reads 266.  The sellers states they are planning to upgrade to a larger rig due to their family size.  Included in the long list of $23k in upgrades over the past five years are…  Subaru 2.2 conversion with new everything and coolant system, rebuilt automatic trans, new heater core, the brakes, new suspension, resealed gas tank, roof lift assist kit, new skylight, new speedometer, KYB shocks, extended wiper kit, cargo net and many other odds and ends. No word if it also comes with the cargo box on top. This is pretty tricked out van for $23k, however it is an automatic trans, which I’m not a fan of, mainly due to reliability issues.
