1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia Multivan Weekender – Auction In Boston, Massachusetts
I posted about this Westy a while back when it was for sale in Camarillo, CA (link) for $16,750 back in March, and according to the title check on eBay, it may still have a CA title and be for sale by the same owner. This van is a 1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia Multivan Weekender with 300k miles on the body and only 20k miles on the rebuilt stock 2.1L engine and stock 4 speed manual transmission. It’s seen quite a few other fixes and upgrades in the past 6k miles including; new tires, new clutch, flywheel & seal, new stainless steel coolant lines, all new motor mounts, new shift selector, new Yakima roof rack (not pictured) and more. It does have a small leak in the power steering setup, but other than that it is said to be mechanically sound. It even comes with the removable jump seats so you can cart a total of 7 people with seat belts around on your next adventure. This looks like a great specimen for the east coast and will likely fetch a nice price of at least $15k.
