White 1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper w/ 38k On Motor & 175k On Body – $15,900 in Seattle
Just a few hours ago this fresh looking find appeared on the Seattle craigslist for a cool $15,900. Personally I think this van is priced right, might even be a bit on the lower side. According to the seller, they need the cash for medical bills and it has to go soon. The odometer has 175k, there’s a new stock/rebuilt motor as of a few years ago(38k miles), manual locks and windows (awesome, cause the power stuff fails often), manual 4 speed, new propane tank (2006), Thule rack, rear wiper, everything works, no visible rust, appears to be in great shape. I know this might sound a bit stereoypeish, but when you see a Westy for sale with nice houses in the background, there’s a good chance the owners had the money to take care of it, and a garage to keep it in. There’s even a cool console storage thingy between the front seats. Seller says clean title in hand, ready to go. On the surface, this looks like a sweet deal and would likely fetch closer to $20k if it were in So Cal. This one will be gone soon.
