1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper – $9,000 in Eugene, OR

Not many details on this one that just showed up on The Samba about 5 minutes ago.  This van is a 1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper with stock 2.1L engine, stock manual transmission, ~250k miles and supposedly only minor surface rust and a few dents. The current owner states they’ve had it for about 12 years and have put 75,000 miles on it since purchasing from the original owner.   A late model Westy camper with no structural rust that runs for under $10k in Oregon, see ya later.   Aside from the photos no other significant detail are provided, with the exception of the VIN ( WV2ZB0258LH032485 ) so you can do some homework on the mileage, ownership history, etc.  Find it for sale in Eugene, Oregon and listed on The Samba with an asking price of $9,000. 1. To Mike
May this be a lesson on judgement for buyers. One must not have to list a reason for selling, like cancer or medical necessity for selling at a lower price and simply. Time is of the essence for those sellers, and buyers fascinated with obtaining the vehicle for the least amount spent , should ask questions, research before prejudging and believing a review of a listing, call, get more info ,mechanic contact etc…I should have sold it for more, but I want to chew, read write, see breathe smile, smell walk staight. BTW does anyone know an honest cranialfacial surgeon ? 🙂

  2. BTW, one of my ads says selling it for my facial fractures to get fixed, eyeball, jaw nose neck, ……hence the low price, same with my house, do it or die.

  3. Hi ..I am the owner of the van. Nate , I did not receive a email from you. Other guy, my mechanics , who know vans said good shape, very little surface rust, in oregon WE do not salt the roads. And I drive less than 6000 a year on it, just drove back from 30 miles away cruiing 70mph . :;;;;)))).

  4. 250k would Be a deal breaker for a lot of buyers, maybe it will sell for 5-7k? I cannot see anyone really willing to take a risk unless the price is lowered.

    • Hi see my post Kenny, I am the owner, it is sold for a good price, and lots of offers.

  5. I have emailed this owner several times with no response, even when it was listed a few weeks ago. Hope they answer my email this time!
