Wow, here’s a low mileage survivor Westy that’s worthy of mentioning today.  This van showed up on The Samba yesterday afternoon and is sure going to draw a lot of attention and commentary.  This rig is a 1990 VW Vanagon Syncro Westfalia camper with what is said to be an all original 38,000 miles.  While it is said to have a clean title, it was in accident long ago which required some doors to be replaced, and my guess is this is why they’re not asking $50k for this.  It of course comes with stock 2.1L engine, stock manual transmission, locking rear differential option, cruise control, power locks and power windows.  The seller states they haven’t used the kitchen appliances and it hasn’t had propane since they’ve owned it. I never get this part.  If you’re selling a $30k Westy, Syncro or not, figure out if or which of the kitchen pieces work, it’s not that hard. With any low mileage vehcile like this, be sure to get the VIN and do a title check to ensure it’s at least close to accurate.  Find it for sale in Missoula, Montana with an asking price of $32k. The Samba Link

I’m very interested in this van. I live in Bozeman and would like to check out the van if it’s still available.
