1990 VW Vanagon Syncro Westfalia Camper – $24,500 in Sacramento, CA
Happy Friday everyone! Here’s a nice Syncro that just went up for sale in central California. This van is a 1990 VW Vanagon Syncro (AWD) Westfalia Camper with only 111k miles, stock 2.1L engine (rebuilt at some point with AMC heads), rebuilt manual transmission and comes supposedly rust free(though some surface rust as apparent in the photos). The font differential was rebuilt at some point, and it also comes with the rear differential locker (one knob, with room to grow!). Some of the other highlights include: Rhein wheels w/ BFG tires, Old Man Emu Shocks, Go Westy Lift Springs, South African Big Brake Kit, power locks and a handful of bumps and bruises, but overall looks really good, especially for the asking price of $24,500. The seller provided the VIN ( wv2ZB0252LG067142) in a screen shot of the Auto Check report, which shows a score of 36, not too shabby. The van has been a non op status and registration for some time, but not sure why? Maybe they just never used it? There’s also no word on if or how well the propane, stove, sink, fridge, etc work, so I’m going to reach out to them for more details.
