1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia Full Camper Auction In LA – Ends March 17th
The little gremlins in the latter Westy years I try to avoid are the power windows. It’s actually kind of hard to find a 1990 or 1991 Westy without these. Here’s one that showed up on eBay yesterday (link) as an auction, with a Buy It Now price of $17,900. The van is located in Los Angeles, CA and other than some faded paint, appears to be a nice specimen. While the odometer shows 229k, there’s a factory new 2.1L motor with less than 40k on it. According to the listing, everything works (sink, stove, fridge, etc) and it comes with a clean title. When you’re trying to sell a 25 year old vehicle for 18 grand, why not provide a title report for free? Even eBay offers sellers an auto check service for a reasonable price.
