Here’s a nice looking deal on a 1989 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper with a Tiico conversion for $10,800 in Honolulu that was posted on both the SF craigslist and the Honolulu craigslist.. While the seller says it is $1,100 to ship to Oakland, I don’t think you can register Tiico conversions in California, so keep that in mind. The pictures and details tell a good story for $10,800 asking price, so I’m thinking this should sell to a Hawaiian resident soon. According to the seller it’s recently received new GoWesty heavy duty springs and Bilstein shocks along with new Bridgestone Alenza tires with a 65k mile warranty. The odometer reads 184k, with about 110k on the 2.1L Golf Tiico motor. This could be a great option for someone who wanted to visit Hawaii for a month or two and not have to pay for a hotel or a rental car, just live in your van! I don’t know much about the Tiico conversions, but from what I’ve read, they are falling out of favor as there are better options for a similar price range. There also appears to be an issue with the exhaust mounts as they are known to “eat mufflers”.
you want to sell it? then email me
