It’s rare to find a late model Westy with this kind of original mileage for under $20k, and that just what I found for sale on the Taos, New Mexico craigslist this morning. For sale for $19,500 is this 1989 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with only 65k miles which features the stock original 2.1L engine, 4 speed manual transmission, 15in wheels, clean title and has been garaged. Not many other details are provided other than the seller stating the engine “purrs”. I’ll drop them a note and see if they can provide more detail. There’s no mention of rust, however in one of the photos it appears to have some seam rust on the drivers side lower seam below the RV hookups. Craigslist Link
