1989 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper w/ 58k Miles – Auction in Los Angeles, CA ends February 10th

Happy Sunday Westy hunters? Maybe in between super bowl parties you’ll be telling Westy tales and hunting for that new rig, well I’m here to share this fine specimen I discovered this morning on eBay.  This two owner beauty is a 1989 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper with stock 2.1L engine (rebuilt in ’99 @43k miles), stock automatic transmission and 58k original miles, yes.  The seller provided the VIN ( WV2ZB0253KH042209 ) and the free eBay Auto Check report, which gives a whopping high score of 57 and the mileage seems legit as well.  The pictures show 0 rust and almost no imperfections, it appears they even professionally clean the upholstery as it is shining like new. In the past five years it has received alternator, battery, fresh charge of Freon, fuel-pressure regulator, Rebuilt left and right axle assemblies, starter and starter relay, windshield wipers, mosquito netting, GoWesty bronze-color skylight, skylight sunshade, fuel-lines, muffler, muffler strap, tail-pipe, ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor, coolant bottle and water bottle, brake pads and rotors, engine accessory belts, thermostat and ECT sensor, front wheel bearings and some other odds and ends. Expect the seller’s reserve price to be north of $20k, with my highest bid guess around $23k, possibly more. This van is located in Los Angeles, California and the auction ends on Tuesday February 10th at 6:57 pm. eBay Link
