1989 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper – Auction Ends June 24th @5pm PST

In the past couple of weeks I’ve seen quite a few nice ending prices on eBay auctions, this could be another win that only has 7 hours left.  This van is a 1989 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with stock 2.1L engine, stock manual 4 speed transmission, 228k miles and is said to be pretty much all original. There’s some minor bumps and bruises, some surface rust, a cracked windshield, and no mention if the kitchen equipment works.  However it has a clean title and appears to have never been altered or modded in any way(sans tint, stereo and sub woofer), a great starting point for someone looking to restore a relatively good condition Westy from a good vintage.  If you’re in the know, you’ll notice this van is a Canadian version, as it has one of the RV hookups lower than the other two, and it sounds like it lived in B.C. until about 2006. On that note, maybe the speedo was altered, as it is in miles and not kilometers.  The van is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California and is offered as a no reserve auction that ends at 5pm PST today(June 24th) with the current high bid a $7,100.  If you can get this for under $10k it’s probably a win.  eBay Link

  1. 59 bids from 12 bidders with the winning bid at $8,800. Likely an awesome deal!
