1987 Westfalia Syncro SVX
This 1987 VW Vanagon Westfalia Synco with Subaru SVX conversion popped up on The Samba yesterday. While these builds are usually quite expensive, this one appears to be fairly priced considering the usual $40k + price tag. Lots of Audi and Porsche parts along with a new timing chain and engine seals. It appears to have a trailer hitch, which while for for the user, can often be a red flag wondering what the previous owner tried to tow around with 240 ponies. Additional 8 gallon fuel tank, a custom skid plate, solar panels and more, this one comes with the works for $39.500.
eBay has been a bit flat recently as far as new and unique Westys, but users on The Samba always come through with the goods. I love me some syncro. I’ve been off the map a bit for the past couple of weeks for the holidays… and, I bought myself a new westy before hitting the road and I’m in love all over again. More to come on this soon.
