1987 VW Westfalia Subaru EJ25 Conversion
This VW Westfalia Subaru EJ25 conversion has been for sale a couple of times now and was recently relisted on The Samba. Clean, tidy and 165HP, this Westy looks like a winner. Most Subaru conversions cost $10k or more to do them right, so with an asking price of $17,000 OBO, this looks like a good deal. Aside from the Subaru upgrade, the seller lists a wide variety of other additions including fuel tank, alternator, clutch, a Scan Gauge II for the computer read outs and much more. Not sure if the EJ25 is California compliant though, would have to check with the DMV on that one.
