Back in the saddle on the Monday morning bringin’ this hot find straight to your web browser. The SF Bay area, and especially Santa Cruz, are a hotbed for Westy lovers, which usually means you can expect highly inflated prices here. However last night someone post this van with what appears to be a reasonable asking price. This 1987 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper in white has been owned by the same family for over 14 years and boasts a relatively low 165k miles. As far as I know the engine is the stock 2.1L and the transmission is the stock 4 speed manual. The engine heads, fuel lines, alternator and water pump have all been replaced recently and it is said to only have minimal rust. The stove works fine, however the fridge is likely toast. The tent canvas isn’t in horrible shape and they’ve added the double middle jump seat so you can tote around a total of six passengers. Find it for sale in Aptos, CA with a reasonable asking price of only $8k. Craigslist Link
Emailed the owner and they’re no longer selling it. Too bad.
