1987 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper – $13,900 in Seattle, WA
I don’t think I’ve seen this one for sale in recently months, nor do I recognize it. Up on craigslist just a few hours ago is this 1987 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with a rebuilt stock 2.1L engine (18k miles on it), stock 4 speed manual transmission, new front suspension, gas tank reseal, new fuel lines and hoses, new GoWesty 3 window tent, full length awning and no A/C. No mention if the sink/stove/fridge work, or how well and they only provided two pictures. The actual mileage on the body isn’t stated, but I’d say that’s the original blue paint and it has fared well over the years. I think that’s almost a fair asking price if the van is completely clean and legit, with no leaks or structural rust. Anything under $12k would likely be a steal.
