1987 VW Vanagon Syncro Westfalia Weekender – $55k in New Mexico
It’s been a minute since I’ve posted about a flashy high priced dream rig that done of us can afford, so I thought today would be a good day after noticing this one show up on eBay. This van is a 1987 VW Vanagon Syncro (4wd) weekender with a recently rebuilt 2.2L engine (1,000 miles), new transmission, new paint job, Billstein shocks, new drive shaft, new steering box and column, vacuum decoupler, big brake kit, skid plate, swing arm carrier and all kinds of other upgrades. Not sure how much they have invested here, but I think the buy it now price of $55k is a little high, even with the new engine. Check it out in New Mexico, auction ends June 12th. eBay Link
