1987 VW Vanagon Country Homes Camper – $12,750 in Whidbey Island
I’ve never been to Whidbey Island, however for what appears to be a relatively small place, I do see quite a few Westys for sale there. While this van isn’t a true “Westy”, it is it’s comparable cousin, the country homes camper. I love when sellers take the time to write a detailed AND creative posting about their van, and this one is a perfect example of that. Meet Gonzo. Gonzo is a 1987 VW Vanagon Country Homes camper conversion with stock 2.1L engine, stock manual transmission, 179k miles and some fresh paint. Gonzo’s kitchen comes with a 12V fridge, 2 burner propane stove and additional battery and inverter to plug in all your goodies. He recently took a trip up and down the Westy coast without issue and has a full tune up, new alternator, water pump and automatic transmission service.
