I haven’t seen too many of these in my last two years of looking at Westy porn on the internet. Of the ones I have seen, they just didn’t look too hot. However, this one has changed my mind, and appears to have a reasonable price tag. For sale in Bellingham, WA, this 1987 VW Vanagon Syncro Riviera Westfalia has 172k on the clock and according to the seller has no rust and no mechanical issues. The transmission has been rebuilt and the linkage feels tight. It would be nice to get the number of owners, title history and anything else that has been replaced in this vehicles lifetime.
