1986 Westy Camper Snycro w/ 2.5 Subaru – Colorado Springs – $28,500
This looks like a very well kept 1986 VW Vanagon Westfalia Syncro with a relatively low mileage 2.5 Subaru motor that was recently installed. This rig comes with a Van Cafe big brake kit, Old Man Emu shocks, Go West 3rd brake light and a variety of other upgrades. The seller does disclose there has been some seam rust that has mainly be addressed. The odometer might be a little funky too and has about 200k on it. It’s of course a manual transmission too. There’s some good pictures on The Samba listing, but the seller also has a flckr album loaded with tons of angles, including a picture of that beautiful motor. With an asking price of $28,500, this seems like a pretty decent deal, especially with that fresh subie motor. That thing probably hauls up I-70 real quick like.
