Here’s a nice 1986 VW Vanagon Westfalia Weekender that went up for sale in Flagstaff, AZ and was posted on The Samba yesterday for a cool $11,800. This van features the stock 2.1L motor (first year of the 2.1L) and the stock 4 speed manual transmission.  The AC works, the jump seat allows for seating and seat belts for 6 people, it’s got newer brakes, newer muffler, newer curtains and other misc odds and ends. Appear to also come with Yakima rack tabs, towers and bars (set of 3). If this is the original motor, it’s likely going to need some love soon, so I’m thinking $11,800 might be a little high, but based on appearance, $9k would definitely be a deal.
