Ohhhh La La! On the surface this appears to be a fire sale, and while listed in the GoWesty classifieds site, it really under cuts the usual pricing of a GoWesty restored van. I really have no idea why the seller is asking this low of a price, especially in a prime region like Santa Cruz. Here’s a quick rundown of the specs. GoWesty 2.5L motor w/ 21k miles, 300 miles on 5 speed transmission from German Transaxle (still under warranty), GoWesty bumpers, Old Man Emu’s, bed liner around the bottom, new propane tank, Fiamma awning, solar panels, South African big brake kit, 15” Mercedes rims. This deal almost seems to good to be true. I’d ask the seller about the title history and for more pictures of the interior, exterior and undercarriage. If it’s been in Santa Cruz the whole time, it could be kinda salty. I’d also ask if it’s ever been to burning man (do this with any van), as the Playa dust can wreak havoc on things. If you’ve been thinking of getting into a Syncro, this looks to be a fine specimen with all the fancy mechanical upgrades.
