Here’s a nice looking Westy in the Pacific Northwest that just went up on the eBay auction block last night. This van is a 1986 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with 150k original miles, stock 2.1L engine(freshly rebuilt), stock 4 speed manual transmission, new GoWesty 3 window tent and everything is implied to be working. I’d have to say, this was either very well kept, or someone spent some time giving this rig some shiny detailing inside and out. The seller has posted roughly 50 pictures of all the nooks and crannies and it generally looks spotless. It even has some pop top lift assist struts, which I’m hoping to add to my own personal van soon. This could be a really nice blank canvas ready to go and drive it all over the place Westy for someone with the coin to pay what the seller is likely expecting. No word on the reserve price, but I’d say they’re hoping for at least $20k. They provided the VIN, but no title check. VIN: WV2ZB0252GH066623 The van is located in Belleve, Washington and the auction ends Sept 28th at 9am PST. eBay Link

Looks like they’re hoping to get $18k for it, which is really a fair price for the region, especially considering the new engine.
