1986 VW Vanagon Syncro Westfalia Camper w/ 14k On Engine – $40k in Reno, Nevada

While nice well sorted and cared for Syncros are out of most people’s price range, here’s what appears to be a clean specimen available in Reno, Nevada that showed up on the eBay auction block yesterday.  This van is a 1986 VW Vanagon Syncro Westfalia Camper with 150k miles and roughly 14k miles on a rebuilt 2.1L engine.  This two owner syncro started it’s life in Oregon and was then purchased by it’s current owner and moved to Nevada where it has lived since 2000.  The seller states it’s never been smoked in and has never been to Burning Man (major plus). If features a variety of upgrades and bells and whistles including a GoWesty Big Brake kit, Go Westy heavy duty suspension package, Old Man Emu shocks, recent full tune up, Atwood propane heater, Pioneer sound system, Viper alarm, no flop mirrors, Go Westy bumpers with swing out tire/gear carriers and some overall clean good looks. The fridge was removed for storage, but I’m guessing the rest of the kitchen works. The seller provided the VIN ( WV2ZB0250GG033318 ) and the title history looks to be in good order.  Find it for sale on eBay with an asking price of $40k and a make an offer option.  eBay Link
