Here’s a nice looking 1985 Westy camper posted on TheSamba.com moments ago for sale in Encinitas, CA with an asking price of $13,000. According to the details, this van has a rebuilt stock 1.9L motor with 25k on it coupled with the standard 4 speed manual transmission. Nice wheels, nice tires, rack tabs with a cargo cage, looks pretty decent overall. The seller says that “Almost everything is new on this van except interior and body” and that they’ve got all records from Brads Foreign and Domestic in Encinitas, Ca and Precision Foreign Auto in Imperial Beach, Ca. This looks like a pretty good deal to me, mainly if there’s no to minimal rust, it has a clean title and the stove/fridge/sink work. Nice bra on that South African grille and headlight upgrade, good posture too. I think this is likely a fair asking price and will sell quickly.
