This nice looking 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Full Camper showed up on eBay a couple of days ago and boasts only 82k on the clock. Most interestingly, it is a no reserve auction! The seller doesn’t go into much detail about the history of the van, other than it has been garaged and everything works. It’s also an automatic transmission, not the more sought after manual variety. The pictures show this van to relatively rust free. The seller has 0 feedback, so they are likely new to eBay. Any guesses on what it will sell for? Unless someone actually gets to see it in person and really verify it’s condition, title history and drivability, I’m thinking maybe $11k? If the seller had it detailed, provided the full records and service history, a YouTube video of it running/driving, along with better pictures, they’d probably get $14k-$15k. With a van like this, it’s all in the sellers ability to actually “sell it”. The 1985 I got was the same way though, I got it for a song because the sellers didn’t detail it or take good pictures.
