1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Weekender Automatic – $9,200 in Spokane, WA
Not many details are supplied by the seller in this craigslist post, and at the very least I thought I’d help them turn their photos right side up. While I usually don’t post about vans with minimal details supplied by the seller, this one looks to be in very nice shape and a somewhat reasonable asking price judging by the pictures. This van is a 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Weekender Wolfsburg with stock 1.9L engine, stock automatic transmission, 215k miles and new tires. I’m going to email them to see if they can provide the VIN, title history or any additional information. I’m not too into the automatics, but this weekender would be great for family of 6, as it comes with 6 seats and seatblets and with the auto trans, could be safely driven by those without the know how of a vanagon stick shift. If it’s the original engine and transmission, then know it will need some serious servicing and replacement very soon.
