For our final post today, check out this 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper auction in Northwest Montana that ends tomorrow morning. “Myrtle” has a stock 2.1L engine, stock manual transmission, 128k miles, factory A/C, propex propane heater under the rear seat, trailer hitch (only used for bike rack according to seller) and some overall decent looks. Myrtle grew up in California and Washington state, only to be moved to Montana in 2013 and is being sold by her 5th owner. She’s recently received new shocks, fuel pump, water pump, rear CV joints, skylight vent, spark plugs/wires, fuel pump, ignition switch and various other upgrades. While the stove and sink likely work, the fridge has been “deleted”. Their buy it now price is a bit steep at $19,750, though the starting bid is much more reasonable at $14,500 and hasn’t received any bids. I think if this were in Seattle, Portland, SF or So Cal, it would easily sell for $15k. Though the value of the propex heater likely diminishes the further south you go. Auction ends Saturday, February 14th at 9:44am PST. eBay Link
