1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper – $9,875 in San Jose, CA
This van is a 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with stock 1.9L engine, stock 4 speed manual transmission, 140k miles and a clean title. The seller provided the VIN in the craigslist listing so you can pay for a title report if you’d like. (VIN WV2ZB0255FH028558). Overall this van looks very clean and well cared for, however my main concern is that is appears to have an after market paint job that could be covering up other rust issues. One of the main giveaways is that the seams looks a bit to “full” and the RV hookups are painted white as well. However, if there is 0 rust, it doesn’t leak or get hot, and drives well, this is a decent price for a clean Westy in the Bay Area.
