1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper – $7,500 in Rhode Island
Just another manic Monday… ohhhooohhh… To start the work week off here’s a low priced find on the east coast that could use a new owner. This van is a 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper with stock 1.0L engine, stock manual transmission, 160k miles on body and original engine (head gaskets done at 143k miles) and could use some cosmetic TLC. This is one of those scenarios where the seller isn’t trying very hard and could have done a much better job with just giving it a wash and wax, along with some better pictures, or maybe they’re just hoping the dirt will cover some seam rust? The seller does openly state the propane tank is toast, and that the fridge likely doesn’t work. As far as recent work it’s seen new exhaust, struts, and fuel pump. As long as the rust and the oil leak are not too bad, $7,500 could be a decent price for the rig.
