1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper $6,000 in Phillips, Maine
This low priced early model water cooled Westy showed up on craigslist last night and the owner is likely fielding quite a lot of interest today. This van is a 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with roughly 169k miles on the body, 72k miles on a rebuilt engine and 82k miles on a rebuilt automatic transmission. The odometer doesn’t work, so you’ll likely just be taking the sellers word on the mileage, so be sure to get the VIN and do a title check to see if there are any discrepancies. In the past four months the van has seen new brakes, new hydraulic hoses and all four fuel injectors replaced. There’s some rust around the RV hookups, and likely other places as well, however by the photos and what appears to be the original UPS brown paint, it doesn’t look to be in too bad of shape.
