Here’s one with minimal words but lots of pictures that showed up on the Washington DC craiglsist yesterday. This van is a 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper with stock 1.9L engine, stock manual transmission, 128k miles, a full length awning, sunroof in the pop top and some overall pretty good looks with what is likely the original white paint. The seller did provide the VIN so you can do a CarFax report, however aside from what I’ve just said, all that’s left are pictures. Craigslist Link
A Note For Potential Buyers: Do the VIN check, look for mileage discrepancies, accidents, etc. Also, make sure the undercarriage looks as good as the body panels in terms of rust and use. This one appears all original, so see if the engine has ever been rebuilt, if the fuel lines or gas tank have ever been resealed, take a look at all the front suspension bushings (look for rot, blown out rubber, loud squeaks over speed bumps on your test drive, etc)
A Note For The Seller: More details please! Great pictures, (could have used some undercarriage ones), but otherwise, more details, owner history, etc would take this listing a lot further.
