1984 Vanagon Westfalia 118k Miles in Sonoma CA
This Westy popped up on eBay yesterday and aside from the high buy it now price, it appears to be quite a good find and in superb condition. The reserve price could be much lower than the buy it now price of $14k, but we”ll likely never know. It’s notable to mention that nice Westys for sale in this region usually fetch a higher price when compared to the east coast or midwest. According to the seller in Guerneville, CA (near Santa Rosa, in Sonoma County), this van only has 118k original miles, however nothing major has been upgraded or replaced during it’s lifetime. While we like the all original factor, usually vans this old have had some drive train rebuilds and upgrades. We love the look of that original paint job. It also has those pesky hard to install Yakima rack mounts on the pop top. The auction ends September 1st at 5pm PST. Either this van is super duper immaculate, or it’s just another indication I got an amazing deal on my 1985 I bought via craigslist last year.
