While I think this could be a slightly higher than average price for the region, it might still be a decent deal if it’s really in good structural and mechanical shape. This van is a 1984 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with a 2.2L Subaru engine and an automatic transmission. No word on what type of conversion kit was used or who it was done by, which makes a big deal for those of us in California who are required to have the Kennedy engineering kit to be CARB compliant. The engine is a 2005 Subaru, or was done in 2005, no real specifics. The seller does state that their are new break pads, fuel pump, starter and neutral safety switch, rewired starter system, tranny cooler, shocks and air lift suspension. I drove this Westy and the Vanaru conversion was nice. That said, the body was in lousy shape. I think that the ad for this westy is lacking and if I remember right breezes over the body condition.
