While not legal for those of us in California to register, I often wonder about these Bostig Engine conversions, as it seems like a rad idea. Basically, these guys built a kit for the Ford 2.0 Zetec engine, which there are many of, and endless cheap parts for. Earlier today someone posted this 1984 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper with 2.0L Bostig engine conversion with 20k miles on it for $12,500 in Salida, CO. No word on what kind of mileage is on the body, but it appears to be the original orange paint, but then it’s also got newer seats with arm rests (which didn’t come until ’85). The seller says the van is rust free and spent most of it’s life in Nevada. As an added bonus it also comes with a two bar Yakima roof rack set up and a Fiamma bike rack for the rear. Find it for sale in Salida, CO with an asking price of $12,500. Craigslist Link
