Here’s a low mileage fresh listing on the eBay auction block with a reasonable buy it now price and auction ending on September 2nd. This van is a 1984 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper with stock 1.9L engine, stock 4 speed manual transmission, new rear axle, new brake rotors and pads, new radiator, new temp sensors and everything is said to work except the fridge and the dash lights. The seller provided the VIN (VIN WV2ZB0250EH128498) and the eBay title check shows the mileage to be inaccurate, and likely well over 200k, though the odometer only shows 100k. It appears to have lived in the Soutwest most of it’s life, so it’s likely got minimal rust issues, and also have some bedliner around the bottom and on the rocker panels. The Yakima wide body rack tabs appear to be properly mounted in the rear of the pop top, however always look for cracks here, as heavy loads or crooked bolts can cause issues. Seller also states it has a tow package, so be sure to ask them “what” they towed, as anything more than a bike rack does some significant extra wear and tear on the suspension, engine and transmission.
