Here’s a fresh find for your Friday afternoon Westy browsing. This orange 1984 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper just showed up on The Samba with a relatively nice asking price of only $10k. While the mileage and VIN are not listed, the nine pictures show what appears to be a well cared for Westy with an intact original pop top canvas (usually a good sign of limited use and good treatment), South African grill, heavy duty front and rear bumpers (Go Westy ones?) and some type of garage rigged A/C unit under the rear seat. It’s likely got the stock 1.9L engine & manual transmission though no word on whether or not they have been rebuilt or serviced recently. As far as the pictures, they show a clean uncracked dash, minimal rust on the body and an overall good looking interior. Find it for sale in Atascadero, California. The Samba Link
While I’m not 100% sure it is in Atascadero, some research on the seller shows this could be the case. Are you the owner of this Westy? Have you seen it? I’d love to know more about it, including mileage, service histories, VIN, etc. Got some words of wisdom, thoughts or any other rant you’d like to share? UPDATED: Seller provided the VIN in the eBay listing. ( WV2ZB0250EH013626 )
