1984 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper – $10k In Walnut Creek, CA
Fresh on craigslist about an hour ago is this 1984 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with stock 1.9L engine, stock 4 speed manual transmission, 127k original miles in it’s slightly faded original yellow paint. Not to be assuming, but Walnut Creek is a pretty nice place, and it’s often the case when you buy a Westy in a nice neighborhood, that the owners probably took care of it, and maybe even garaged it. Vs. say, buying a Westfalia from a Nigerian prince? Anyhow, Walnut Creek is right up the road from Bus Lab, where it is said to have been serviced (at least recently) and the purchase includes all service records for the past 12 years. This is stated to be a two family three owner rig, though no VIN has been provided. No word which/if kitchen appliances work, but it does come with new shoes and the original tent canvas is one of the better ones I’ve seen in a very long time, at least for this age of Westy. If this is all it is said to be and looks are not deceiving, this is probably a good deal and will be gone in a couple of days. I’m going to email the seller for more details.
