Here’s an interesting Vanagon turned camper with an after market country homes pop top and Westfalia camping kit for sale in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It showed up for sale on The Samba yesterday with an asking price of $12,500 and features a GoWesty 5 speed transmission with a 1.9L turbo diesel motor. It has about 218k miles on the body, with close to 100k on the motor conversion, but less than 15k a variety of upgrades and fixes including; 5-speed transmission, clutch & pressure plate, injection pump, injectors and lines turbo, Timing belt, 110v Dual battery w/ inverter, 35qt. refrigerator, 16” rims with new tires, Front swing arm bushings, ball joints upper and lower, heavy duty springs and shocks, front rotors, calipers and pads, new axles, steel braded front break lines. It also comes with a ton of extra not-installed parts and pieces too. Appears to definitely be a project van with some rust, however if you’re into the country homes style pop top, this is a nice find. That transmission alone is $4k before installation.
