1983 VW Vanagon Westfalia – $13,500 in San Diego, CA
Here’s a Westy for sale from a fan that notified us via Facebook earlier today, looks like a well cared for and loaded up specimen for a decent price. This van is a 1983.5 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with 188k miles, stock 1.9L engine, stock 4 speed manual transmission, later model Vanagon headlights and grill, a bed liner job on the wheel wells and undercarriage, new rear shocks, 16″ wheels and Michelin tires (<1000 miles), nice stereo system and a bunch of other upgrades and knick knacks. The fuel gauge and odometer don’t work and it has a couple of miscellaneous oil and coolant leaks, but supposedly nothing to severe or costly to fix. They’re selling this Westy to upgrade to something larger for a longer family road trip. Overall this looks like good deal and will likely sell quick. Check it out in San Diego, California.
